I've been readiing some good Sherlock Holmes mysteries in my spare time as we get ready to move to Portugal. Two in particular I want to review here, but first I wanted to post the THIF news.
Meanwhile, I posted at greater length about the move to Portugal on my other blog (Elizabeth Varadan's Fourth Wish ) On February 21st we leave for Braga, Portugal. More details are in the post.
My apologies for no pictures today. My life as been a "to do" list lately with no time for photos.
I hope this finds readers safe and well and getting through all the restrictions with fortitude, finding enjoyable indoor activities. And I hope you are not dealing with losses due to this terrible "plague".
"This, too will pass," even though it feels like forever. Takce care and stay well.

I’m leaving this generic message so you don’t think I’m a flake. I didn’t feel good Friday, and when I woke, the entire area around the eye that got damaged last summer had swollen so badly, I couldn’t open it. After speaking with the vision specialist, the soonest I can get in is Monday morning. I am not to wear the eye patch I was given in case it might exacerbate the swelling, but I am to take the eyedrops I was given from before. Thanks for understanding why I haven’t been to visit you.
Oh, dear, Elizabeth, I hope the specialist is able to treat it swiftly and successfully. So sorry you have this worry. It was kind of you to stop by while so concerned about this. Do take care, rest, and best of luck for a quick solution.
"...My life as been a "to do" list lately..."
Life *IS* a to-do list. Always. ;)
Thanks for the info on Sherlock Stories.
Stay safe. Stay well. And pack on:)
Mirka, I certainly know what you mean about life being a "to do" list. It's certainly true in my case, too. Here's to checking off the items on our lists. :-)
Sandra, I hope you check out the new info (April 16). More goodies available..
