It's Friday Again, and Time for THIF (Thank Holmes It's Friday)
Good morning fellow Victorian Era/Sherlock lovers. It's Friday again, with some incredible new offers HERE . Check them out
:
Are you a Sherlock Holmes addict as I am? A mystery lover? Every week MX Publishing offers new riches.
Not an addict, (to anything but coffee) but I do admire the detective. Wish I had tome to read a few of the volumes I never had before. My TBR pile is daunting :0
Good morning, Mirka. For many years I was just an admirer, too. I read the originals, and enjoyed them so much. Then I stumbled on a couple of pastiches that I didn't realize were pastiches. I thought they were also written by Arthur Conan Doyle. (One was The Adventuress, by Carole Nelson Douglas, who—sadly--recently passed away. She had a whole series starring Irene Adler, and they were just terrific.) After that, I kept discovering more and more pastiches written in Doyle's style, and before I knew it, I was hooked. I know what you mean about TBR stacks, though.
Hi, Jess, Well, perhaps "addict" was an overstatement. But I probably read more mysteries these days than non-mysteries, and lately I've been reading quite a few Sherlock pastiches and enjoying them. I suppose I really could say I'm a reading addict. It's one of the great pleasures of my life.

Thanks for stopping by. You, too. Have a Sherlockian week-end.
I am not an addict- but I do enjoy a good mystery. :)
