Friday seems to arrive pretty fast these days, as I run around arranging book signings, reviews, etc. for my book that's being published June 15th, Imogene and the Case of the Missing Pearls.
My celebrations this week:
1. A terrific book I read - Tangled Skeins, by David Marcum. I'll be reviewing it next week, so please come back to learn more about this good read. (Pssst - it involves Sherlock Holmes.)
2. A school visit that's coming up in April. I'll be going from classroom to class room to read from my book and sign copies.
Celebrate the small things is a blog hop co-hosted by L.G. Keltner @ Writing Off The Edge, Katie @ TheCyborgMom, and Lexa Cain @ Lexa Cain .
Mosey on over to Lexa Cain's blog to see all the links and to add your links to the list. Have a great day.

The school visit sounds exciting. I know what you mean about the weeks slipping by so fast.
I understand how hard preparing for a release is, especially lining up reviewers. That takes ages. It's like querying. Ugh. I'm glad to hear you found a book you like and look forward to your review. Have a great time at the school visit!
It's always fun to share books with kids in that age range (8 to 12). I'm looking forward to it. The way the time is going, April 17th (the date) will be here before I know it. :-)
I so relate to your comparison of marketing to querying. I'm learning a lot, although many days I would prefer to be writing. Thanks for the good wishes.
Will your book come out in e-format? If not, I'll buy it in whatever format is available. Enjoy those school visits!
Hi, Cathy! Thanks so much for your support. Yes, as a matter of fact, it will come out in e-format as well. Have a great day!
How fun for the kids to be read to by the author of the book. Sounds like so much fun!
Ooh....a school visit with that gorgeous book of yours :) Glad too it's coming out in e-format. I've been checking...
Hi, LInda Kay, yes, I'm looking forward to it. I actually interviewed some third grade students at this school last year about historical fiction and was quite taken with how much they do like fiction from earlier eras.
Wow, thanks, Sharon, for checking it out. Yes, it's going to be available in print and e-format. Glad you think it's gorgeous. I loved the cover and have Bob Gibson at Staunch Design -http://www.staunch.com/ - to thank for it.
Tangled Skeins? Involves Holmes? I shall definitely read that review.
Hi, Geo. Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I think you would enjoy the book, too. It's a "pastiche".
I can't wait to read the final version of Imogene. Congrats again on your successes.
Thanks so much, Rosi!
