So it all went well. My surgeon is satisfied with how it looks in pre-op visits. For a few days I won't be on the computer. (Typing this with the operative eye closed, so I'm skipping the picture and links for now. But celebrating for sure.) Luckily, I can read print books and take walks. (Another thing to celebrate. Otherwise I'd be a little stir crazy.)

Thanks, Crystal. Yes, reading makes a big difference. In fact, I've turned this into an enforced vacation, just taking pleasure walks, doing a lot of pleasure reading, and soaking up a lot of good writing.
So glad it's in the rear view mirror.

Hi, Sandra. Me, too! Although, there is still the left eye to deal with. I don't know if that will call for surgery or just continued drops. I'll know more in the coming weeks.
